What happens during your appointment?
- We cleanse the skin and apply numbing cream for comfort.
- Using the SkinPen™ device, the practitioner glides the sterile, single-use cartridge across the area at a controlled depth and speed.
- You may feel a light buzzing or mild sensation, not discomfort.
- Immediately afterwards we apply soothing serums and your skin begins the renewal process.
How will I feel afterwards?
The Downtime
Your skin may appear a little flushed; similar to a mild sunburn, and you might experience some tightness or dryness for 24-48 hours. Peel or flake may occur but usually resolves quickly. You can resume most normal activities quite soon, though we advise avoiding heavy make-up, steam-rooms or intense exercise for the first day.
What results can you expect?
Many clients notice a fresh, glow-like appearance within a week; however the full benefit comes from the collagen and elastin settling and remodelling, which continues up to 3-6 months post-treatment. For optimal effect we recommend a course of 3-6 treatments spaced 4-6 weeks apart.
